3Great watch, Bad value.  Feb 07, 2010
So Last spring I decided to begin training for a marathon and would therefore need a good watch for pacing. After about a week of searching I decided this watch would best fit me. When I got it I was super excited to try it out, and it worked beautifully. On top of that it hugged my wrist better than any watch I've worn has before. Two major things turned me off to it though. The back light got on my nerves since I have terrible eyesight to begin with and hated struggling to see the time, and after about 5 months, the entire watch went kaput anyways. My opinion, if you're a heavy runner, just bite the bullet and invest in a better watch; if not then go ahead and try this watch out. It's a cool looking watch and from what the reviews say some people have had it for years and it still works fine. Your choice.

a light watch, good , except the font is small.

but this style is too old in the timex series.

4Watch  Jan 31, 2010
i am a runner, this is the second watch like this i have owned the first the band tore as i was wearing it while wrestling with my brother, and the band cannot be purchased or reassembled at a store and had to send it back to get a replacement band, but it was under warranty so no worries there...then the band came apart a year or so later and instead of sending it in for maintenance i purchased a new one...its light, does splits, and has large numbers..the band is the only set back..but i may have been to rough with mine...all in all good watch and i do recommend it if you dont want to be weighed down with a bulky watch.

3Good Features - Poor Quality  Jan 30, 2010
This watch has some great features, and they all work as they are supposed to... however, I have had significant problems with both the band and the buttons.

The buttons are difficult to press, and sometimes need to be pressed more than once for the watch to take (I think they tried too hard to make it "sleek"). This is especially annoying when you push the lap button, and it doesn't take, so you sit there pushing around the surface of the button until it takes.

Also, the band is cheap. It separates easily from the watch face, and is very difficult to put back on. After the 5th time my band came off, it was pretty much off for good, because the slightest thing will take it off again. I've stopped wearing this watch because the band won't stay attached.

5Good watch  Jan 09, 2010
For the price, a very solid sports watch. Easy to use and read, and very durable. I would buy it again.
